Club legend Johan Cruyff encapsulates what most folks believe that Barcelona stands for, and that is,  “Quality without results is pointless. Results without quality is boring.". Barcelona is an illustrious club, in which folks consider it arguably the second biggest in the world. With that said, they are also famous for the pressing, touching, attacking, and possession base play, which started with Cruyff and then up leveled by Guardiola.

And if we need the quickest summary to defend this, all we need to do is drop the following: In domestic competition, Barcelona has won a record of 70 major trophies; 26 La Liga titles, 31 Copa del Reys, and 13 Supercopa de España; In European football, Barcelona have won 10 trophies, being a record five European Cups/UEFA Champions League titles and five UEFA Super Cups. In worldwide competitions, they have achieved three Club World Championships. In short, they win and they win with their style.

But what folks often forget is the illustrious history that comes with Barcelona. Los Culers or Cule, actually was inspired by a stadium innovation to help allow for people to fill in the stadiums. In 1916, to help satisfy demand, a permanent two-tier stand was erected at the side of the pitch, increasing capacity by 6,000. So, by passers would essentially pass through the stands, they will find a long row of rear-ends on top of the stand, which at the time was a spectacle and brought humor to folks. And as this phenomena became more ubiquitous, they would call them Culers or Cules which translate from Catalan, "those who show their backsides".

For Barcelona, the best way to get right into their history is splitting it by eras via the Post Spanish Civil War, Johan Cruyff Stabilization, Laporta Round One, Bartomeu's Ultimate Financial Crisis, and Laporta Round Two.
