Current Champion: Barcelona

Supercopa de España (Spanish Super Cup) founded in 1982, was a 2-team competition; currently it is contested (since 19/20) by 4 teams: winners and runners-up of the Copa del Rey and La Liga (2 team version only the winners). Current venue rights are in Saudi Arabia.

In terms of status and prestige, the Supercopa is technically the third highest, after La Liga and Copa del Rey domestically. However, due to partnerships, there is a big prize for the winners. It is said, as per 2022 figures, that each semifinalist will pocket 800K Euros. The runner up will collect 2.8M Euros, while the club that wins the whole competition will be able to pocket 4.6M Euros. Read more for the list of champions and all time goal scorers in the competition.
